The 128GB Intel Core i7 Surface Pro 3 is no longer available from the Microsoft Store

In late June, Microsoft began selling a version of its Surface Pro 3 12-inch tablet with 128GB of storage and an Intel Core i7 processor inside. Now that version of the tablet is no longer available to purchase on the Microsoft Store site, less than two months after its introduction.

When Microsoft began selling this version of the tablet, it was the cheapest model that had a Core i7 processor inside at $1,299, thanks to cutting down the storage to 128GB. However, the Microsoft Store site now only shows five models of the Surface Pro 3, none of which have this configuration. An online sales rep for the Microsoft Store confirmed that the 128GB-Core i7 model has been removed from the site but did not have any more information. We have contacted Microsoft's PR reps to find out more about this decision.

Microsoft just began selling the Surface Pro 3 and the smaller Surface 3 with Windows 10 pre-installed.
