2 new legacy multiplayer maps coming to Gears of War 4 on November 1

Gears of War 4 players will soon get a chance to spice up their multiplayer experience with 2 new maps. Starting November 1, season pass holders can check out both the Dry Dock and Checkout legacy maps ahead of their public playlist debut on November 8.

Here's a look at what to expect from each map, according to Xbox Wire:

  • Checkout - Revisit the iconic supermarket in Cole's hometown of Hanover 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3 in this Legacy Map. Much like the rest of Sera, nature is reclaiming whatever it can following the Locust Wars, but that hasn't slowed the fast, furious and frenetic combat that takes place between the checkout lanes and the electronics department.
  • Drydock - Transported from a COG ship building facility to a ship breaking scrapyard on a Seran mudflat, this fan favorite returns with a vengeance to Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer and Horde modes.

Also on November 1, fans will get a chance to check out a sneak peek of the Run The Jewels Air Drop, which packs playable versions of the rap duo Killer Mike and EL-P. Are you stoked to give these legacy maps a shot? Let us know in the comments which map you'll be excited to dive into first!
