Things have been rough for Halo: The Master Chief Collection to say the least. Now it appears that 343 Industries is looking to smooth things over a bit by beta testing its next content patch starting tomorrow, January 23.
The developer recently announced the test via its Halo Waypoint blog, stating:
In recent weeks, 343 Industries has been conducting extensive internal testing of the upcoming content update. However, given the scale of the update, which includes changes to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking experience and party system, we are opening it up to members of the Xbox One Preview program to provide additional testing in an "at home" environment to ensure the official release is the best possible experience for players.
Hopefully this indicates a smoother experience for players once the official update rolls out. If you'd like to roll the dice and test the patch for yourself, 343 Industries says the test is open to those in North America who own a copy of The Master Chief Collection and have opted-in to Xbox One beta testing via the Xbox One Preview program. If you'd like more details on the test, the developer provides much more information via a FAQ at the source link below.
What do you think of this move by 343 Industries? Do you think it will help smooth the experience out for players?
