5 Windows 10 apps you should try: Get your Joe, track your dough, make a movie, and crawl a dungeon

With the ever-growing number of apps and games in the Windows Store, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with what's out there.

For that reason, every Friday we showcase some apps that have piqued our interest. They may have been in the news recently, they may be new to the Windows Store, or they could simply be old apps that we just stumbled upon.

They are the 5 Intriguing Apps of the Week.

Starbucks

Starbucks

It's here, it's here! The long-awaited official Starbucks mobile app arrived yesterday, bringing caffeinated goodness to your Windows 10 phone.

Locate Starbucks stores in your area, whether you are in the U.S., UK, or Canada, to see the address, store hours, and amenities. Pop in and pay for your drink using your smartphone. Don't have any singles on you to leave a tip? No problem, you can even add a gratuity right from the app.

Log in with your Starbucks account and get a look at your card balance and transaction history. Manage your payment options and reload your card, or set up auto-reload.

The app also lets you see how many Stars you've earned as part of the My Starbucks Rewards program, as well as redeem them.

It's been a long time coming, but the now that Starbucks has arrived on Windows 10 Mobile, it's clear that it was worth the wait.

Available for Windows 10 Mobile.

Grapholite - Diagrams, Flow Charts and Floor Plans Designer

Grapholite - Diagrams, Flow Charts and Floor Plans Designer

Grapholite is a full-featuree graphing and diagram design app for Windows 10 computers. Designed to be efficient enough to work on low-end tablets, the app still has a robust feature set that can compete with other apps made for high-end computers.

Whether you are using your finger, a stylus, or a keyboard and mouse, you can easily create flow charts, swimlanes, and org charts, like you would in Microsoft Visio.

Grapholite can also create electrical charts, network layouts, and even floor plans for home and office. It offers up a wealth of stencils and icons to plot on your charts, and even has built-in templates to help you get started.

Designs can be printed, shared to other apps and exported to file. Grapholite can create PDF, JPEG, SVG, and VDX files, and can import both VDX and VSDX Visio files.

Grapholite is a lightweight app when it comes to resource usage, but it's a heavy-hitter in terms of capability. It's also much cheaper than similar apps of its caliber and offers a trial.
