In recent times frequenters of the 500px app for Windows Phone will likely have noticed a number of bugs that crept in with regards actually viewing images. A pretty big deal for an app based around looking at great photography. Fortunately, the end to the troubles is today, as an update is available right now to download in the Windows Phone Store.
The developers have apparently been sending out emails to some users explaining the issues:
"I'm writing because for the past few weeks, our Windows Phone app has been unable to properly display photos and the fix took longer than expected. This has caused a lot of inconvenience for our Windows Phone users and we'd like to say we're sorry, and we truly appreciate your patience and ongoing support.
Today, we have good news! The app is fixed, and available for you now in the Windows Phone App Store. You can update the App right away, and get back to enjoying the amazing photos in the 500px community."
It's early days, but so far we've had absolutely no problems with the latest version. Everything seems to work as it should and it's back to looking at stunning photos. Grab it now from the store links below.
Thanks PipoDj for the tip!
