Acer's new Predator Z35P monitor is a 35-inch gaming behemoth

Acer has thrown another bone to the gaming crowd with its latest monitor, the Predator Z35. The company has just launched the 35-inch curved behemoth (via Anandtech), as an update to the original Z35, offering an increased resolution and more.

Down to raw specs, the Predator Z35 includes a 35-inch curved 3440x1440 (21:9) screen with a speedy 100Hz refresh rate. The VA panel can reach a peak brightness of 300 nits, and features a 4ms response time. Support for NVIDIA's G-Sync tech, which tackles screen tearing by closely managing frame pacing, is also on board here.

Though it's packed to the gills with features that gamers are sure to appeal to gamers, the Predator Z35P comes at a steep price. You'll be able to get your hands on the Z35P in the coming weeks for $1,099, and Amazon is already taking preorders.
