Update 3: The 8.1 update is live as our T-Mobile Lumia 925 now has Lumia Cyan (and it is also enrolled in the Preview for Developers program)

It looks like T-Mobile US is getting ready to unveil finally the Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Cyan update for its venerable Lumia 925.

Evidence comes from T-Mobile's support forums, which detailed the over-the-air update. However, that page has since reverted and despite an earlier claim, we have not had an update for our Lumia 925s. It looks like T-Mobile may have jumped the gun a bit early, although we have all the details.

We've teamed up with Microsoft to give three two-day tickets away (worth £1,000 each) to those who have the desire to attend both App World and Future Decoded, but don't have the funds to do so.

Late last night, a rather significant update went out for the OneDrive app for Windows Phone. With the app refresh came some highly requested features like support for OneDrive for Business. However, there was also a rather large UI change too, stirring some controversy amongst loyal Windows Phone fans.

Changes in app design are always a mixed bag. UI design is an art and like art, there are champions and critics for choices and layout. Some are rational others are pragmatic, and many are just subjective opinions.

Microsoft has certainly been known to throw out some hot looking, official controllers for the Xbox One, and now they're back with another. Following on from the Titanfall limited edition earlier this year is this, the brand spanking new, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare limited edition. The game might still be a week out, but the controller is available right now.

And it's a scorcher.

Alright, you don't need a new controller to play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – or any Xbox One game, for that matter. And since it costs an extra $10 or so over a standard, run of the mill, black controller, what do you actually get? Well, two things. A paint job and some in-game content.

Microsoft's Joe Belfiore today showed off some new features coming to the Windows 10 technical preview. In the opening keynote for Tech Ed 2014, Belfiore ran the audience through new trackpad gestures that will further enhance the user experience for power users, who require efficient shortcuts to save valuable seconds while switching between multiple programs.
