No matter how technically savvy you consider yourself to be, there's always a good chance you will come across something that you just don't know anything about. For instance, a few of us at Windows Central were chatting online, and someone asked what S/MIME is and whether they should enable in their email settings on their Windows phone.
Having worked in IT for a number of years, I had heard the term S/MIME before. However, I didn't know nearly enough about it to answer the questions. Early this morning, WolframAlpha launched on Windows Phone 8.1 for $2.99. As many of you noticed, the Store listing showed it as being available for Windows as well. At the time, tracking down the Windows Store link was a bit tough, but later on it became available.
We are also happy to report that this fits in with the universal apps model that Microsoft is putting forth with its Windows 10 vision. So although the app is still $2.99, that cost covers both Windows and Windows Phone versions of the app. We just purchased the Windows 8.1 app, and when we went to 'buy' the Windows Phone one, we were informed we had already paid for it.
