Plex Home has arrived to deliver new features allowing users to have better control over sharing and their media in a multi-member family household. Users can choose who they want to share their media content with and create separate user profiles for different members of their family in Plex Home. This is enabled as Plex has moved the server management to the web app.
Patent-holding consortium Rockstar, which counts Microsoft, Apple, and BlackBerry among its members, has reached a settlement agreement with rival tech giant Google from a lawsuit originating last October. In its suit, Rockstar alleged that Google had infringed on seven search-related patents that it owned after winning a bid to acquire Nortel's intellectual property portfolio.

The game launched last week but has had severe matchmaking issues for the majority of players. A patch was scheduled for yesterday but was delayed until today (11/20). Today's patch should alleviate all issues that resulted in extended matchmaking times and low matchmaking success rates. Plus there's a bunch of fixes for the different campaigns and a few UI tweaks.
Developers building apps for Microsoft's Windows Store could potentially earn less money starting January 1, 2015. A change to the App Developer Agreement that takes effect next year would take away an appealing incentive for developing for Windows as developers could earn less money selling apps than they do currently.
Popular list-making app Wunderlist is now available for your desktop. Wunderlist officially released updated apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 this past September. Now your cloud-synced lists will be available on your desktop, especially useful for any machines you have still running Windows 7. This week Domino's Pizza jumped into the world of Xbox One applications. Or in the UK and Republic of Ireland it did, at least. It's not the first time a pizza delivery app has been available on a games console, but Domino's latest joins its apps for Windows, Windows Phone, iOS and Android.
So, while we're waiting on it getting out into a few more countries we've fired up a British console and gone for a test order. All in the name of, er, science. Or something.
If you are using a Windows Phone 8.1 device and use the offline maps option, you may want to check for an update. Users are reporting to us, and we have confirmed that multiple states in the U.S. – and likely elsewhere – are flagged for some map refreshes.
We can confirm that at least New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and California all have fresh maps to install. To clarify, this is not an update to the HERE Maps app, but rather the downloaded maps data for offline usage.

A new report says that sales of the Xbox One are catching up to the PlayStation 4 in the UK. Figures from that country's GfK Chart-Track state that Microsoft's game console has outsold Sony's machine, in terms of sell through from retailers to consumers, for the past three weeks in the UK. It has also recently broken the one million unit sales milestone in that country since it launched nearly a year ago.
Telltale Games has not only released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming episodic game series Game of Thrones, but it has revealed that the six-part series will feature voice acting by some of the members of the HBO television cast.

A flawed performance update was the reason why many Microsoft services powered by its Azure cloud servers went down for almost 11 hours earlier this week. Microsoft has now formally apologized for the outage, which occurred between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
Less than a year after Corning first revealed Gorilla Glass 3, the company is going ahead and introducing Gorilla Glass 4. The latest version of its touchscreen display glass is supposed to be up to two times tougher than any competitive cover glass product. Corning said that in their drop tests from one meter on a rough surface, devices with Gorilla Glass 4 survived the drop up to 80 percent of the time.
