At Computex 2016, ASUS unveiled the ROG G31 gaming desktop, a beastly machine that comes with two NVIDIA GTX 1080 video cards. The system also offers Intel's sixth-generation Core i7 processors, as well as up to 64GB of RAM. The goal with the G31 is to offer 4K gaming at Ultra settings, and in that regard, the desktop delivers.
The G31 also offers four M.2 PCIe SSDs, as well as a Blu-Ray disk drive. There are hidden airflow tunnels as well as a 3D Vapor Chamber for effective heat dissipation. It's incredibly difficult to cram all that hardware inside the form factor of the G31, which is why ASUS has offloaded the 600W power supply into a secondary case.
No word on pricing or availability, but we should have more details shortly.
