Microsoft has now officially revealed the special deal it will give Microsoft Store customers on Thursday, December 11, as part of its 12 Days of Deals sales event. This time it's for the Windows 8.1 notebook, the ASUS Transformer Book T100TA, which will be priced at $249 in-store and online and just $199 for the first customers who show up tomorrow at the company's physical stores.

Normally, the 10.1-inch ASUS Transformer Book T100TA is priced at $329, so Thursday will offer holiday shoppers an $80 savings or $130 off if they are one of the first 50 people at a brick-and-mortar Microsoft Store, or one of the first 25 people at one of its smaller specialty stores.

The notebook has a detachable 1366x768 display that can serve as a stand alone tablet. Inside there's an Intel Bay Trail-T quad-core Z3735F processor running at 1.33 GHz. It also has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 1.2MP web camera and a battery that is supposed to last up to 11 hours. Microsoft is throwing in a free year of Office 365 Personal, a $69.99 value, with the purchase of the notebook.

As with all of the 12 Days of Deals offers, this price cut is just for US and Canada residents only.
