ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360 notebook will soon have Intel 7th generation 'Kaby Lake' CPUs

Some models of the recently launched ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360 convertible 2-in-1 Windows 10 notebook will soon have Intel's new 7th generation "Kaby Lake" CPUs inside.

ASUS first announced the 13.3-inch ZenBook Flip UX360 in July with Intel's 6th generation "Skylake" chips and its 180 degree hinge that turns the notebook into a touchscreen tablet. Now Notebookitalia.it (via Liliputing) stated that ASUS showed off the notebook with the new "Kaby Lake" chips at a press event this week.

At least three models of the ZenBook Flip UX360 will get the new Intel chips; the UX360CA with a 4.5 watt Core M3-7Y30 processor, the UX360UAK with a 15 watt Core i5-7200U chip and the UX360UAK with a 15 watt Core i7-7500U CPU. All of them will support up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage. There will be display options of 1920x1080 and 3200x1800 resolutions for the notebooks.

The ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360UAK will be available in Europe in October for the starting price of €1,399 (about $1,571). There's no word on what the price or release date will be for the ZenBook Flip UX360CA model.
