While several global markets having already received the Lumia Cyan update for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, some U.S. carriers have been slow in offering this update to consumers. Fortunately, you can scratch one U.S. carrier off the list of holdouts.
The update brings the Lumia 920 and 820 into the fold with the other AT&T Windows Phones that have already received the update, including the Lumia 520, Lumia 925, Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520.
If you are not seeing the update notice automatically, head over to your Windows Phone settings and choose the Phone Update option. Just tap the "check for update" button and you should see the prompt to begin downloading the necessary files.
Preview users still need to wait
Remember, if you are using Windows Phone 8.1 already through the Preview for Developers you still do not get Lumia Cyan just yet as Microsoft has a pause on the updates. Users are instructed to either wait until a fix comes out or use the Nokia Recovery Tool to downgrade the OS and then take the updates. This applies for the AT&T Lumia 820 and AT&T Lumia 920 too as far as we can tell right now.
