Microsoft has today announced the Lumia 730 for Vietnam at an event in Ho Chi Minh City. The Lumia 730 making its way to consumers in the region is - of course - configured for dual-SIM support, perfect for those with needs requiring more than a single phone number to be attached to a mobile device. Pricing for the Windows Phone will set purchasers back by 5 million Vietnamese Dong (about $240) and the Lumia 730 will be available from October 1st.

According to a tweet shared by Microsoft's Lawrence Schlosser, French consumers won't have much longer to wait before Cortana is available. The tweet by Schlosser, who is a Senior Director of Operator Channels at Microsoft France, notes that Cortana is on an accelerated pace and it should hit France "in the coming months". A familiar but somewhat reassuring expression these days for Microsoft fans.

Microsoft has migrated the main sections of what was the Nokia UK Lumia website to its own online portal. The tech giant recently pushed across the support pages covering Lumia software updates and now it appears as though the green light has been given to absorb remaining content. A combination of notifications and redirects have been set up to send consumers from the old Nokia website to Microsoft's new home of its own mobile products.

Microsoft is set to bring back the bundle deal with the Lumia 930 in the UK, according to Clove who also unveiled a price drop for the Windows Phone. This bundle will see purchasers receive not only the Lumia 930, but also the MD-12 wireless speaker and DC-50 portable wireless charger at no extra cost. It's a sweet package to get anyone started with Microsoft's mobile platform.

Microsoft has moved across the Lumia support section for software updates to its own website. Previously available on Nokia's online portal, it makes sense for Redmond to move things across post-acquisition of the Nokia handset division. Consumers interested in finding out just when they can expect to receive future updates will now need to head to Microsoft's website, or load previous locations to only be redirected across.

Update 12 PM ET - WPWorld.pl has now retracted the story, claiming the source is not reliable or a Microsoft employee.

According to a report over on wpworld.pl, Microsoft's Cortana is coming to Poland. Microsoft clearly plans to bring (and further develop) the virtual assistant to other markets, but time will tell just when the feature is rolled out across multiple regions.

As well as Cortana allegedly for Poland, there are also some supposed details on Windows Phone Update 2, including a release date for those on the Preview program.
