AutoCAD 360 for Windows 8.1 adds new tools with latest update

Autodesk has released its latest update for the AutoCAD 360 app for Windows 8.1, adding some new tools for users of the 3D model creation and viewing app.

When AutoCAD 360 was first released in the Windows Store, it only allowed users to view DWG, DWF, and DXF files. Since then the app has been updated to include support for editing files and sharing them with others. Here's what Autodesk says is new with this update:

  • New dimensioning tools, enabling you to document length, radius, diameter and angle measurements
  • Bug fixes

You may remember that Autodesk started a private beta test of a Windows Phone version of Auto360 in February, but so far there's been no word on when the final version will be released to the public.
