Week 14 of the 2015 NFL pro football season is over and done with, but Microsoft's Bing prediction engine wasn't all that impressive in picking the winners this time. Its record for Week 14 was just above average at nine correctly predicted wins and seven games that it failed to predict the outcome. Overall, Bing's NFL record is now 131-77 for the entire season.

Microsoft stated that upset wins by Pittsburgh, Oakland, Washington, and New Orleans in Week 14 that were not predicted by Bing were part of the reason for its record. It did note that it correctly predicted the Cleveland Browns would win against the San Fransisco 49ers, which it said most prognosticators had picked Cleveland to lose.

The Bing search team hopes to bounce back in Week 15. Here's some of its NFL game predictions for the next week.

"Multiple injuries incurred in Week 14 will play a role in outcomes of Week 15 and beyond. The two marquee games for this week are Houston visiting Indianapolis with their division on the line, and 11-3 Denver visiting 8-5 Pittsburgh. Our models expect Indianapolis to complete the season sweep of Houston to start a new in-division win streak, which was snapped by Jacksonville last weekend. The models also prefer Pittsburgh at home against a Denver team that struggled to find the end zone in Week 14. The Thursday night game starts with Tampa Bay keeping their slim playoff hopes alive with a win. New York remains tied at 9-5 with the other wild card hopefuls with a Saturday night win over Dallas. The week ends on Monday night with New Orleans doing likewise with a win over Detroit."
