Bing is predicting the winners of the 2016 League of Legends World Championship

Microsoft is expanding the reach of its Bing Predicts engine again, adding its picks for the winning teams in the current 2016 League of Legends World Championship. The eSports tournament for the mega-popular PC action-strategy game kicked off in late September and will end on October 29.

In a blog post, Microsoft stated:

Search Bing for "league of legends 2016" or "lol worlds 2016" and get information on when matches will take place, what the group standings are, and how different teams are ranking within their group. For a quick view on how the competition will map out, click on the 'Knockout' tab of the answer and get a snapshot of the dates and times for the quarterfinal, semifinal, and final games.Wondering if a team (e.g., SK Telecom T1) will be Worlds Champion again this year? Click on that team to get its roster, or click over on the 'Matches' tab to see the matches the team is scheduled to play. But will it win? Bing's predictions for matches are indicated by a blue label next to the team predicted to win and its likelihood. You can also click on an individual player to get detailed championship stats.

Fans who also want to check out the results of the 2015 League of Legends World Championship can search Bing with "lol worlds 2015" to bring up the group standings, along with the quarterfinal, semifinal, and final results. You can even watch a video replay of those games by clicking on the match tiles.

Microsoft is also adding tournament and predictions for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive eSports events:

Simply search for "csgo events" to get information on dates of past, ongoing, or future events, their locations, and prizes. Get even more details on an event simply click on the event row.

Bing users can also type in "csgo top teams" to see which CS: GO players are leading the pack, and searching for "csgo matches" will bring up past, current or upcoming professional games:

Just like with League of Legends, you can click on a match to find additional statistics, stream info, and game highlights. Or search for team rosters and find player statistics along with the matches a given team is scheduled to play by simply clicking on a team or searching for your favorite team, as in "nip csgo".

Microsoft previously added detailed eSports information in Bing for Dota 2's The International 2016 Tournament.
