BioShock: The Collection is out for Xbox One, PC version due on Sept. 15

2K Games has released BioShock: The Collection for the Xbox One, featuring remastered versions of the first-person shooters BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite. However, the remastered versions of the first two games for the PC won't be released until Thursday, Sept. 15.

Here's a quick description of BioShock: The Collection:

BioShock: The Collection brings together the epic and immersive stories set in the BioShock universe in one incredible package with 1080p resolution and up to 60 frames-per-second, along with new and improved textures and art assets created by Blind Squirrel Games.Coming with BioShock: The Collection, the never-before-seen video series, Imagining BioShock, takes you through the inspiration and creation of Rapture and its inhabitants, with commentary from Ken Levine and Shawn Robertson. Play through the remastered version of BioShock to pick up golden reels and unlock the secrets behind Rapture

If you already own the original BioShock, BioShock 2 and the Minerva's Den DLC on Steam, you will be getting the remastered versions for free on Sept. 15 (BioShock: Infinite is not being remastered for the PC because it already supports 1080p resolutions). 2K Games has info on how people who own BioShock on PC via a physical disc copy can get the remastered version.
