British Airways has finally released an update to address the ageing official app for Windows Phone. The client – while functional – presented available data, whether it be boarding passes or flight information, in a standard interface with little functionality to really take advantage of the OS. This has changed with version 2.4.
The major highlight is the overall UI, which has been refreshed to feature a more modern feel without wasted white space (or lack of design in certain sections of the app). More functionality has also been implemented, including lockscreen support, destination photos on live tile and lockscreen, the major visual refresh, improved navigation and quick access to executive club information.
It's quite the update. Download the app using the links below and let us know your thoughts on the improvements.
