Build 2014

Build 2014 is Microsoft’s all-in-one developer conference that serves as a platform to publicize new programming tools, OS roadmaps, products and major company pronouncements. There are usually two keynotes, both by the CEO, that highlight consumer, enterprise and developer strategies.

For 2014, the conference will take place at the Moscone Center, April 2-4 in San Francisco, California. Developer tickets were $2095, but have since sold out. This will be the second year in a row for the even to take place at this location, though the date has changed from June to April, to better align with Microsoft product release cycles.

Microsoft is expected to announce and detail Windows Phone 8.1, Windows 8.1 Update 1 and future changes to the Xbox One. A smaller, Surface ‘Mini’ has also been rumored though so far unconfirmed, to be announced as well.

Below, you can find all of our related publications on this event. For 2013, see our Build 2013 coverage here.
