If you've been waiting for a reason to dive into the Dishonored series, Bethesda is ready to serve one up. Aspiring supernatural assassins will be able to check out Dishonored 2 for free with a trial experience launching on April 6 (via Engadget).

No matter your platform of choice, Bethesda has you covered. The trial will be available on PC via Steam, as well as Xbox One and PS4. Once you're finished, you can upgrade to the full game and keep any progress you made during the trial.

Dishonored 2 review: It's so much more fun to be bad

It may be nearly 5 months old, but Dishonored 2 features a story chock full of revenge and an incredibly fluid combat system that are both worth checking out. If you've been hesitant to drop a full $60 on the game thus far, you can get a small taste of the action starting April 6 for free.
