Check out lots of upcoming Xbox One games Thursday night in San Diego

Microsoft has announced it will open up its Xbox Lounge, where it will have a bunch of upcoming games for its Xbox One console to play, to the general public on Thursday night in San Diego.

The Xbox Lounge, which will be located in the Seaport Ballroom at the Manchester Hyatt San Diego, is normally supposed to be for people who are attending this week's annual San Diego Comic-Con. However, Microsoft's Xbox Live exec Larry 'Major Nelson" Hryb announced on his blog that "several dozen" Xbox fans that don't have a Comic-Con badge will be allowed to come to the Xbox Lounge to play the games on Thursday from 9 pm to Midnight. The attendees have to be 21 years of age or older.

Hyrb states what people who show up on Thursday night can expect, saying, "Play Sunset Overdrive, Evolve, Forza Horizon 2, Fable Legends, Ori and The Blind Forest, Madden NFL 15 and much more (!) Talk to the devs. See and be seen."

If you are in San Diego on Thursday but don't have a Comic-Con badge, do you think you might show up to the Xbox Lounge to play some upcoming games?

Agree, ridiculous that they are pushing the One as a media center but dont include 'Media Center' or have an app to replace its functionality.  When they do crap like this and the WP Zune/xbox music-video fiasco it just makes me wonder what they use themselves as in do they own iphones and apple tv or what?
