Cocktail Flow is one of those apps that's not only gorgeous and really shines on Windows Phone, but the app itself has been available for years. The team behind Cocktail Flow also released a Windows 8 version, which has recently been refreshed for Windows 8.1. Sober up and pass the break to see what's new in version 2.0.
Before we kick off what's new in this latest release, if you're not familiar with Cocktail Flow, it's an app that helps introduce you to new alcoholic beverages - in the form of cocktails. We've looked that the Windows Phone app numerous times in the past, but the Windows counterpart really compliments the overall experience nicely.
You've got access to hundreds of recipes, with full preparation walkthroughs and badges to help filter through beverages that match your immediate requirements - be it shooters or longer drinks, rum based or brandy. Drinks are presented with sweet animations and images for everything you'll need to craft the perfect cocktail (or attempt to do so).
Version 2.0 of Cocktail Flow introduces a brand-spanking new design that looks stunning on tablets and HD displays. If you've never enjoyed reading up and mixing drinks together, prepare to be amazed as soon as you load up the latest version of Cocktail Flow. Since this is a Windows 8.1 release, you're also looking at full large size Live Tile support.
Then you have numerous improvements that include more Snap View control and revamped search with the new system introduced by Microsoft.
