Photostream for Windows Phone 8

The Windows Phone 8 lockscreen app Photostream just got a little better.

Photostream already gives you the ability to not only rotate your lockscreen wallpapers from images in your Pictures Hub but PhotoStream will also tapped into Flickr to generate lockscreen wallpapers. The app was recently updated to version 1.2 and allows you to tap into photos on 500px as well.

500px is a popular photo sharing website (has some really fantastic photos) and you can set up lockscreen wallpapers from 500px's featured galleries. Your 500px gallery choices includes the Popular Photos, Editor Picks, Upcoming Photos, Fresh Today, Fresh Yesterday and Fresh this Week galleries.

The selection and range of photos available through Photostream was already impressive before the update. In adding 500px to the mix, you may never get bored with your lockscreen wallpapers.

Photostream is a free app for your Windows Phone 8 device and you can find it here at the Windows Phone Store.

Love this app. Its become an essential app for my phone. I actually giggled out loud once I saw the 500px integration. The quality on 500px is ridiculously high. Gorgeous photos.

Well done team.

Looks like a great app but now I need to figure out how to organize albums on my phone so that I can have one folder with just the lockscreen images I want.
