Darklings - a new dark adventure arrives in the Windows Phone Store

28

Darklings is a new Windows Phone game that was first released over on iOS last Fall. The game has had a fair amount of success over on iOS and after receiving support from the AppCampus, the developers have successfully ported the action game to Windows Phone. As an added bonus, the Windows Phone version includes exclusive content.

Available for low memory Windows Phones, Darklings is a game where the stars have been stolen from the sky by mysterious creatures known as Darklings. You play the role of Lum, a ghostly being, who has to defeat the Darklings and rescue the stars. Graphics are outstanding and play challenging.

The game has received high praise and in playing Darklings over the past few days, we can see why.

Follow Windows Central for all the best from MWC 2015

67

Greetings from Barcelona! The Mobile Nations team is on the ground ahead of the Mobile World Congress activity starting tomorrow, March 1, and Mark Guim and myself will be representing Windows Central. But, it's not just on the homepages where you'll find the best that MWC has to offer.

For the full experience, be sure to follow the whole team on the socials, where you'll more than likely see a couple of things throughout the week that we'd class as "behind the scenes." You won't see absolutely everything on the front page. We've got all the links you'll need below.

What Richard's taking to Mobile World Congress

95

It's that time again. The time to say goodbye to families, pack a couple of bags and hit the dusty trail for another major show. This time out it's Mobile World Congress, the annual gathering of the world's biggest and best that the mobile industry has to offer. For me, MWC is what I'd class as a home event after CES, with Barcelona a mere 2 hours away by plane.

The event may be closer, but to cover it properly for Windows Central and Mobile Nations as a whole I still need to take a fair amount of gear. So here's what I'll be packing for this years MWC.

It can be tricky figuring out what kind of computer you need, but the latest generation of hybrid computers offer a ton of flexibility. In some cases, our picks are little more than laptops with a reversible hinge, while others are more tablets with ample keyboard covers, but whatever the case, these computers can handle daily tasks like a champ, no matter your circumstances.
