Nice Touch Games has released an entertaining game over at the Windows Phone Marketplace that pits you against a herd of crazy horses. Crazy Horses has a Harbor Master or Flight Control feel to it. Instead of guiding planes or boats into safe harbor, you are lassoing horses and guiding them into their corrals.

Game play is simple, you have two game modes race the clock and endless day. Race the clock has you corralling as many horses as possible between sunrise and sunset. Endless day is as described and unlocked as you progress through the game.

You lasso horses by tracing a circle around them (you can lasso more than one horse at a time) and then trace a line from the horse(s) to the corral. If you need to rush them along, simply repeatedly tap on them. You'll hear the crack of the whip and they horses will move with a little more purpose.

As you progress through the levels, horses of a different color will appear requiring you to send them to their own corral. You will also encounter obstacles such as electric fences, trains and angry bulls that you have to defeat or maneuver around.

The only nit I could find is that menu items aren't labeled.  Granted the icons on the menu buttons aren't difficult to figure out, it would have been nice to have seen labels.  Graphics and sound effects are good and the game ran stable.  I like how as your time begins to run out in the day, the screen dims.

Crazy Horses is an entertaining, mildly addictive game for your Windows Phone. There is a free trial version available to let you try before you buy, with the full version running $2.99. You can download both here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.
