Dell and Microsoft have announced a new partnership that will offer business and enterprise customers a consolidated way to purchase Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 tablets combined with Dell's support and service. In early October, Dell will begin selling Surface Pro tablets, along with its accessories, to business customers in the US and Canada, and will expand to the other markets that sell Surface tablets in 2016.

Microsoft stated:

"Mobile professionals tell us they want a device that's both portable and powerful — and they love the Surface Pro 3. And with new security features in Windows 10, IT professionals are enthusiastic about how they can deploy Surface more easily and securely throughout their enterprise."

"However, our largest global customers have told us they want to buy Surface from one partner, in one transaction and have devices deployed all over the world. To meet that need, Dell will now add Surface Pro to their device lineup and sell it along with their world-class enterprise support and services."
