Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and NBA Playgrounds join Xbox Game Pass next month

Xbox Game Pass costs $9.99 each month so be sure to check it out if you want a Netflix-style subscription for games. Today, Microsoft announced that Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and NBA Playgrounds were coming to the service in January 2018. Both games offer radically different experiences but they both require a modicum of skill to be successful.

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is the ultimate version of the acclaimed action game. Devil May Cry 4 immerses gamers in a gothic supernatural world, where a new protagonist clashes with a familiar hero. As the new leading man, Nero, players unleash incredible attacks and stylish moves using unique new gameplay mechanics.

NBA Playgrounds brings back classic NBA arcade action. You have to bring all of your skills to the court to beat the best in two-on-two matches. The game lets you practice your skills offline, play with up to three others on your console, or take your talents online to posterize your opponents with acrobatic jams and ridiculous displays of skill.

Devil May Cry 4 and NBA Playgrounds are entertaining experiences even though they might not represent the epitome of their respective genres. If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, be sure to check these games out in January. Usually new titles are available at the beginning of the month.
