Duolingo picks up support for Swedish and Irish in latest update

After making its Windows Phone debut almost a month ago, Duolingo received a pretty nice update today. Coming along for the ride is support for learning Swedish and Irish, along with the addition of a word bank to some translation exercises.

Below is the official log of what's new in this update:

  • Hallå! Dia daoibh! You can now learn Swedish and Irish on Duolingo.
  • In translation exercises, you will now sometimes be asked to select words from a word bank instead of typing.

Duolingo is free and makes learning a new language pretty darn fun, as our own Mark Guim noted with in his hands-on with the app. Be sure to hit up the link below to update your app or give it a shot if you haven't already.

Thanks to Jase for the tip!
