Entry-level Surface Pro 4 drops to just $699 at Microsoft

Microsoft is making it easier to get your hands on a Surface Pro 4 with a $100 discount on its entry-level model. Right now you can pick up the Intel Core m3 Surface Pro 4 for $699 directly from the Microsoft Store. On top of that, Microsoft is also throwing in a $25 gift code to spend on apps and games on the Windows Store.

For your money, you'll pick up the Core m3-powered model with 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The one big downside with this particular model is that it doesn't come with a Surface Pen, which is one of the big draws of the Surface line. To start inking, you'll have to shell out an extra $60 for a Surface Pen separately.

All said, that's not a bad deal at all if you're looking for a relatively cheap way to jump into the Surface ecosystem. If you need a little more power, there are ongoing deals on the Core i5 and Core i7 models as well, with each dropping $200 off of their base price.
