Bethesda has added support for playing many of the mods created for its post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 4 for players on Xbox One.
With the latest title update for Fallout 4, Xbox One gamers are now able to browse Mods on Bethesda.net and, more importantly, can directly download and play Mods within the game's main menu.
This is the first time that console gamers can download and play mods made for its PC counterparts. That said, there will be some restrictions. Mods that are approved for the Xbox One version have a download size limit of 2GB. Also, Bethesda says it will not be approving mods that violate copyrights owned by others.
At the moment, close to 900 mods have been approved for the Xbox One version of Fallout 4, and that number will likely increase rapidly in the days and weeks to come.
