A Twitter campaign, using the #NewMobileDevicesInBrazil hashtag, has started with the hopes of convincing Microsoft to sell its recent Windows 10 Mobile devices in the country.
The campaign was started by the site Windowsteam.com.br and is aiming to get answers from Microsoft about when or even if the company plans to launch its Lumia 950 and Lumia 650 smartphones in the country. So far the Twitter campaign has seen over 20,000 tweets with the #NewMobileDevicesInBrazil hashtag since it launched on Tuesday.
Brazil was once one of the biggest markets for Windows Phone devices, behind only the U.S. and India. However, Microsoft has recently cut down on the number of new devices it sells in that country, and also closed its authorized reseller stores in Brazil.
