The Final Station begins its post-apocalyptic ride on Aug. 30

The Final Station, a rather unique post-apocalyptic indie title, is coming to Xbox One and PC on August 30. In a mix of survival and action, The Final Station promises a challenging play as you take care of passengers on a train that's making its way through an apocalyptic world, stopping only to venture into dangerous abandoned stations to pick up supplies.

In The Final Station, it's the station exploration that sounds like where most of the difficulty will lie. You'll have to explore rooms to search for supplies and survivors, never being able to peek inside first. In the process, you'll run into tougher and tougher enemies with only your fists and a pistol to take them on.

On the train, you'll have to make sure your passengers remain healthy, meaning a med kit used on yourself could be the death of one of the passengers. If they die, you can loot them for a minor reward. However, if they live to their destination, they'll give you better and better rewards.
