If you purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One, you will also be able to see the episodic live action digital feature Halo: Nightfall when it comes out on November 11. Today, Microsoft released the final trailer for the feature, which looks like it will get down and dirty with a squad of U.N.S.C. troops on a broken Halo ring

Halo: Nightfall stars Mike Colter as the new character Agent Locke and from what we can tell in the trailer he's a battle hardened soldier who has to fight a new threat from the alien Covenant. Locke is also scheduled to show up as a character in the upcoming Xbox One exclusive game Halo 5: Guardians that's due for release sometime in 2015.

Sergio Mimica-Gezzan directed Halo: Nightfall; he has served as an assistant director for many of Steven Spielberg's films before directing a number of episodes of TV shows like Battlestar Galactica, Heroes and Falling Skies. Famed movie maker Ridley Scott is one of the film's executive producers. Are you excited about watching this latest Halo live action production?
