Mozilla quietly revealed its plans to bring its Firefox web browser to Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system last week. However, that's pretty much all we know at this stage, other than Mozilla says it will be released "soon".
Mozilla started developing a version of Firefox that would have worked with Windows 8 and its "Modern" touchscreen user interface in 2013, but after a number of early releases and delays, Mozilla abruptly ended development of the Windows 8 version in 2014, claiming that only a few people were actively testing the browser.
Mozilla has not indicated any word on what the Windows 10 version of Firefox will be like, saying only that it plans to "provide an independent and high-performing alternative to the stock browser."
