Human Element, a zombie-themed first person shooter from new game development studio Robotoki, premiered its first trailer on Friday night as part of the inaugural Game Awards. Human Element is due out in late 2015 for the Xbox One, PC and other platforms.
The game takes place 35 years after a zombie apocalypse hits the Earth. The trailer shows the player character driving a motorcycle inside a human base in the desert and then picking off its inhabitants. However, it appears that the disease that created the zombies is still around. One of the humans that gets "killed" quickly turns into a member of the undead at the end of the trailer.
Human Element was supposed to be a free-to-play game at one point, to be published by Nexon. But Robotoki recently decided to launch the game as a standard console and PC title with no in-game purchases. That's good news for those of us who dislike the "freemium" publishing model.
