Developer Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks have released the first gameplay trailer for Prey, the upcoming re-imagining of the sci-fi shooter title, that's coming to the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The trailer shows off some of the game's locations and its shape-shifting alien enemies.

The gameplay trailer focuses on the player character of Morgan Yu, as he explores a space station that's been attacked by some shadowy aliens that can change their appearance from something as non-threatening as a chair to a smoke-like monster. The game's solid graphics use Crytek's CryEngine, and its art style carries a few similarities to BioShock.

Bethesda also posted another Prey trailer earlier this week, with Arkane Studios President and Prey Creative Director Raphael Colantonio.hinting at some of the secrets in the game. Prey is scheduled to be released sometime in 2017.
