Xbox One users will get to check out a new roguelike survival game, The Flame in the Flood, on Feb. 24. The game, which is set in a gothic-like "forgotten post-societal America," has been developed by The Molasses Flood, a team made up largely of former Irrational Games team members who worked on the BioShock series.
The game is already available for Windows and Mac owners via Steam Early Access but will be officially launched for both those platforms on Feb. 24 as well. The Flame and the Flood has players controlling a girl and her dog companion as they explore a very different version of the American South.
"Travel by foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river as you scrounge for resources, craft tools, remedy afflictions, evade the vicious wildlife, and most importantly, stay ahead of the coming rains."
