Flipkart for Windows Phone lets you sign in with your phone number

It's raining updates for Windows Phone fans based out of India today, with the country's largest e-commerce retailer Flipkart rolling out an update that brings a new splash screen highlighting its new logo as well as security-focused improvements.

The retailer unveiled a new logo earlier this week along with a tagline called, "Ab har wish hogi poori," which translates to: All your wishes will be fulfilled. The update also allows users to sign in or register using their mobile numbers. Here's what's new in version 2.3.0.0:

  • Sign-in/Sign-up with your mobile number
  • Security Enhancements
  • Bug fixes and improvements
