If you're a fan of the British based Blinkbox Music service you'll be pleased to know there's an update headed your way soon to the Windows Phone app. Blinkbox is currently sending out notification emails to its users of the impending update and a few issues that you may initially run into.
As detailed in the email:
"A little heads up
We've been making some under the hood changes lately and we'll soon release an update on Windows Phone 8.1 devices. After the update, you'll notice that your Play History, and any Stations you had downloaded, are no longer there. So, here's what you need to do:
- Favourite the Stations you've downloaded, so you can easily remember which ones to download again.
- Update the app.
- Open the app and re-download your Stations.
- Start playing music, and we'll start creating your new Play History.
Everything else remains the same and we hope you understand that this small interruption is simply so that we can bring you an even better, free music experience!"
So, there we have it. When it hits, follow remember these steps and you'll be back jamming in no time.
Thanks eusty for the tip!
