What you need to know

  • Cloudpunk is an open-world cyberpunk title by Ion Lands and Merge Games.
  • It promises to give players access to a beautiful city filled with characters and story.
  • Today, Merge Games announced the title will come to Xbox One as well as PC.
  • You can take a look at their Steam page here.

Cloudpunk is an upcoming PC title set in a futuristic dystopia that is the hallmark for any cyberpunk media, where you play as a delivery driver and have to unravel the tightly wound corruption that surrounds the game's explorable city. The game also promises to provide players with a ton of options, as many side characters in the game will have their own stories and quests. The players decisions should also affect the world around them, making everything hopefully feel more dynamic and alive.

While the game was already confirmed for a release on PC sometime in early 2020, Ion Lands and Merge Games have confirmed on Reddit that the game will come to Xbox One later on in 2020. Cloudpunk may not be the big AAA title that Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up to be, but could be a great title for people looking for something different to play on PC or Xbox One. It also looks like the game might find its way to the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch at the same time.
