Gears of War 4 is now available for pre-loading on Xbox One if you have pre-ordered, and Battlefield 1 should follow soon too. Downloading the pre-ordered copy of the games reveals their file sizes, which puts Gears of War 4 at a gargantuan 54.6 GB, to Battlefield 1's 42.6 GB.

The Coalition also stated that Gears of War 4 pre-loading for PC would also begin "far ahead" of the game's October 11th launch and that they will have more information to share on that front shortly.
Some users on Reddit have stated that Battlefield 1 can also be pre-loaded, but as of writing I've been unsuccessful in my attempts to trigger the download early. Deleting and re-downloading the pre-order did reveal the game's file size, though, as seen below.

Gears of War 4 will launch on October 11th, 2016 for Xbox One and Windows 10 as a buy once, play anywhere title. Battlefield 1 will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 24th, 2016.
