Gigantic officially launches into open beta for Xbox One and Windows 10

The open beta for upcoming MOBA Gigantic has officially kicked off on Windows 10 and Xbox One. Now, anyone can hop into Gigantic to try it out and provide feedback to developer Motiga ahead of the game's full release.

As part of Microsoft's Game Preview Program, the Gigantic open beta will feature weekly rotation of 6 heroes to choose from out of a total roster of 16. From Motiga:

Each hero features a unique playstyle that can be further customized through comprehensive skill trees during each match. Teams work together to attack enemies while claiming points on the map to summon powerful Creatures. Players will power up their team's Guardian by controlling the battlefield and defeating enemies. Victory is awarded to the team who can overpower their opponents' Guardian.

Three maps are also available during the open beta period, including Siren's Stand, Ghost Reef and Sanctum Falls. More maps and heroes are expected to be released as the beta wears on as well.

Lastly, though Gigantic is completely free-to-play, Motiga is also offering a special "founder's pack" for purchase. If you purchase the founder's pack, you'll get access to all playable heroes, two "Imperial" skins and two Founder's profile icons.

If you're interested in checking out Gigantic during its open beta, you can download the game now for Xbox One and at the Windows Store.
