Google has now said it is working to fix problems with its AdMob network with Windows Phone apps. This news comes after many app developers on the platform reported that their ad fill rates have taken steep drops in the past couple of weeks, which have caused their in-app revenues to take a hit.
After many Windows Phone app developers posted complaints to Google's support pages, the company finally issued a response on their Twitter account late on Monday:
"We're aware of fill rate issues for Windows Phone in AdMob. We're actively investigating and working to fix this, more details soon."
Google has so far not stated a reason for the ad fill rate decreases, nor has it given any indication that it plans to compensate Windows Phone app developers for their losses.
