The release version of GroupMe for Windows 10 Mobile has been updated with video search, coming just a week after the feature made its way to the beta version of the app. Aside from the addition of video search, the latest update also bumps the app up to version

GroupMe video search

Just like searching for GIFs and images, video search can be found under the Media Search option in the app. Unfortunately, as we noted when the feature made its way to Insiders, the videos don't play inside of the app itself. Rather, once a video has been sent, tapping it will open it inside of Microsoft Edge.

Have you had a chance to check out video search inside of GroupMe? If so, let us know your thoughts in the comments! Otherwise, you can download the latest update to the group messaging app from the Windows Store link below.
