Xbox One gamers have a chance to purchase Microsoft's latest entry in its biggest game franchise for a cheaper price. The company is selling the digital edition of the Xbox One shooter Halo 5: Guardians for just $30 this weekend only for Xbox Live Gold members.

The special sale is part of Microsoft's way to celebrate the Halo World Championship 2016, which begins today in Los Angeles. 16 teams will compete in the finals of the tournament with the winning team getting $1 million.

The Halo 5 digital sale is joined by a 50% discount on the Halo 5 Guardians: Digital Deluxe edition, which includes the main game, the animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach and the Warzone REQ Bundle, which adds 14 of the game's Premium Requisition Packs. That version of the game is priced currently at $45. Both versions of the game will remain at these lower prices until 3 a.m. Eastern Dayight Time on Monday, March 20.
