The latest free content update for Halo 5: Guardians rolls out today, adding two new maps, Skirmish at Darkstar for Warzone and Tyrant for Arena. The Ghosts of Meridian update also brings with it new weapons and vehicles, along with a slew of improvements to the overall game experience.

Along with the release of Ghosts of Meridian comes news of the Halo 5 Warzone Firefight beta, which will run from April 14 to April 18. From Xbox Wire:

The beta will feature the Warzone map, Escape from A.R.C., with several additional maps coming with the full release later this summer. Up to eight players will fight together and utilize the Halo 5: Guardians REQ System to complete five rounds of increasingly difficult, dynamic objectives set against a timer to emerge victorious.

To celebrate Halo 5's latest update, 343 is also releasing limited-time REQ pack. Available from April 14-21, the Mythic Warzone REQ pack will feature 10 Mythic single-use power weapons, along with one Ultra Rare or Legendary weapons or vehicle certification. The pack is available for use in Warzone modes.
