For those not familiar, HandyScan is an application for your Windows Phone that allows you to take a picture of a document, convert it to .PDF format, and share it through email. We reviewed Handyscan way back when and found it to be a very nice document scanner for your Windows Phone.
The app was recently updated to bring some new features into the mix. Features that only add to the quality of this app. You have a new, flexible cropping tool with perspective/skew correction, more streamlined process for sending documents and Dropbox support.
You also have a few performance tweaks such as an increased connection time out when sending an email over slow connections, disabling the phone's sleep function while sending or uploading files to Dropbox and matching the app's tile icon to your phone's theme color.
There is a free trial for Handyscan available and the full version runs $2.99. You also have a free version of HandyScan that lacks .PDF conversion (documents are saved as .JPG files). You can find the full version of Handyscan here and the free version here (both links opens Zune) at the Marketplace.
