In a follow up to yesterday's story in which HTC's stock plummeted upon news of "shipment delays" in regards to Windows Phone 7, HTC has come out denying such charges.

ZDnet is reporting by personal communication with HTC that no such delays are occurring and that HTC are shipping devices this week as planned.

However, they are not denying earlier reports that they have had some issues "here and there" with the new devices (specifically, the proximity sensor having problems when on a call). They have said that things have "popped up" but they are addressing them as they occur. Of course, when launching a new OS on new hardware, we can expect the occasional issue to be found, though HTC seems to be a step ahead in combating such problems.
