ImageCompressor for Windows Phone does one thing well: resizes and compresses your images

ImageCompressor

Some apps can do a hundred things decently, while other apps do one thing really well. ImageCompressor is an app that does one thing really well. It compresses and resizes your images. That’s it. But it does it well.

We like apps that follow the K.I.S.S. principle. What’s that? Keep it simple, stupid. Less is more. Simplicity should be the key to design. That’s what ImageCompressor does.

The app allows you to select an image, after that you’ll select the size you want to resize it towards as well as the image quality. Image quality is a nice touch for those who want to share images on a restricted data plan. You can also remove or keep the EXIF data in your images.

From there to you can save the image to your device or share it with other apps on your device.

ImageCompressor is free for Windows Phone 7.x and 8 devices. It does the job fast. Grab it in the Windows Phone Store, use the QR code below, or swipe to the right in our app.

How about the opposite for us 1020 owners? Why keep/take both right away? Why not only downsize when shared? When will more apps be able to use the full power of the sensor?

To get to the "More" page your finger swipes left! Unless you're talking about swiping twice to the right. For some alien reason.

Does this allow you to specifically choose common resolutions? I kind of hate photo editors and such that only give you a slider, there's no precision and reproducibility.

Cannot download the app. I am getting a warning that my htc Titan running 7.8 is an exclusive app for another mobilie service provider and not available in my region??????????????????
